In a spreadsheet I receive(generated by POI but altered by end users), the value in a specific cell shows to be '2.1'. However, when I read the spreadsheet in it thinks the number is '2.100001220703125'. At first I thought the cell was formatted incorrectly, but when reformatting this longer number never shows up...it only shows up upon reading programmatically. Has any one else experienced this? I've attached a sample spreadsheet with one cell that has the offending value. If you run a BiffViewer against you'll see the longer number.
