Hi all, The good news is that I have been able to find my bug in the INDEX and DBCell records. I can now copy a functioning excel file and the copy will successfully import into Access.
The bad news is that the ExtSSTRecord implementation is required to allow a excel workbook created from scratch (or a workbook that has been modified) to import correctly. I should be able to have an implementation and patch by tomorrow though. One point I made in the bug report was that there is a performance cost associated with correctly implementing these records (need to temporary Collections and iterators over the TreeMap collections in the Aggregate classes). I thought that I would address the performance issues of the patch after the *working* patch is applied. Jason -----Original Message----- From: Andrew C.
