PS: For the beggining I just want to mofidy the text from a template to change the image in another template and things like this. Also to append slides to the master document.
No one has specifically undertaken this yet. There is support for the escher file format through excel. Since escher is the basis for powerpoint it might be possible to break this out as the start of the powerpoint support.
