Hi Let me introduce myself, I am venu working with AT&T. I am using the HSSF api for reading the Excel spreadsheets and loading the data into Oracle. In this concern I have 2 questions. I want to read all the Excel columns as String/Text fields only. - Is there any way? e.g. If a cell is having the the number 1000, I want to read it as a string 1000. How can I read a cell having some formula applied to it? - e.g. the cell at C45 may have the same value as C44 of the sheet. How can I interpret it and read the value applying the formula.
