Wait, you're getting out of memory exceptions in Java or Excel is saying "OutOfMemory"?
If the latter, please open a bug in bugzilla, describe, save, go back to the bug and attach an excel file that exhibits this behavior. If you're unable to do this, then familiarize yourself with org.apache.poi.hssf.dev.BiffViewer, its shows you the underlying file format textually. You can use the unix diff command to see the difference between a working file and a broken file. One thought is to make sure that you have plenty of swap space in windows available to excel. 4mb is a pretty dern large spreadsheet for excel to chew on. (I personally would not write an application that generated a 4mb XLS file). -Andy [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: >Hi, > >The errors I am getting are in Excel, the Java part seems to work fine.
