Hi, I tried running the code, and it works fine for me. Quite a big file though, as I had to increase the amount of memory available to the VM to 100Megs before it worked!
I'm using POI 1.5.1 running on JDK 1.3.1 running on Windows 2000. I opened your file using Excel 2000. Regards, -Jeff Now... If I can just figure out why I can't open an xls when the base pre-extisting template file has Excel comments in one or more cells... > doesnt work > can someone try my code to see if it comes from the code or from my > software? > > Thanks > > -----Message d'origine----- > De : Hilbe Stefan [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Envoy : jeudi 1 aot 2002 14:12 > : 'POI Users List' > Objet : AW: Impossible to read the file created > > > Hi > > try instead of > > moClasseur.write(new FileOutputStream("U:\\Test.xls"));} > > the following > > FileOutputStream fileOut = new FileOutputStream("U:\\Test.xls"); > moClasseur.write(fileOut); > fileOut.close(); > > I had the same problem.
