When I open and modify an existing excel spreadsheet that has cell comments, the resulting spreadsheet is corrupt (Excel reports: unable to open file).
Comments are definitely what are causing the problem, because when I rerun my test program against the same excel file with the cell comments removed, the resulting file is fine. I've seen other postings on the list about not being able to access cell comments, and the responses indicated that while they are not accessible, they should be safely ignored. This does not seem to be the case. Any help with this would be much appreciated.
