But briefly, for what kind of stream-oriented, server-side functions
(xls - >xml ?) do folks use HSSF ?

Background: I'm capturing packing slips, po's, etc.from xls and then
updating a project mgmt system, without an intermediate xml step.
I have intermediate standard/normalized format TableModels that
I discard,  after-upload or reject-due-data-errors.
