Next Release?

Trying to use POI to create reports from an app, however some of the
functionality that we require is missing or not accessible. Specificly
looking the ability to include sheet reference in a formula and access to
the formula parser in order to manipulate the formula (there on the todo
list). 
 
Any ideas when these features will be included? Or can we help out?
