I dont remember when exactly the bug was fixed,it could be after 1.10..
and yes, that was the kind of exception thrown...  but if you search for
"concurrency" in the POI list archives, it should give you an idea. 

In any case, you are better of ugrading to 2.0RC1 .. its got many more
bugs fixed since 1.10
