Sergiu,
this has nothing to do with HPSF, since the latter is used for accessing a
document's *properties* (author, title etc.) only, but not a document's
*contents*. The properties are stored separated from the contents and are in
a format that is independend of the document type. For this reasons you can
use to read a Powerpoint presentation's properties with POI's HPSF component
but you cannot read its contents because POI does not have a PPT reader.
