I think it is poi-2.5.1-final-20040804.jar that needs to be in classpath.
This jar file can be found in the downloaded ZIP file
poi-bin-2.5.1-final-20040804.zip.
Please do:
Unzip the downloaded ZIP file into <fullExtractFolderName>
Locate the JAR file poi-2.5.1-final-20040804.jar in your extract
folder
Add location full path
<fullExtractFolderName>\poi-2.5.1-final-20040804.jar to you classpath
The file you are suing maybe the source code, not the classes.

I am new to POI and have problems in setting up POI package. The following
is the way I configure POI package: 1. download
poi-src-2.5.1-final-20040804.zip and unzip it 2. set the library class path
of POI as poi-src-2.5.1-final-20040804\src\java
3. import org.apache.poi.*
But it does not work. Can you guys give me some guidance how to correctly
configure POI package?
