I set the content length in much the same manner with Weblogic 8 and
Jrun 4 with no such issue... Could well be an implementation issue. btw
you HAVE to set the content length when doing what you are doing. I seem
to recall it was part of the way things should be done, but like you I
have found it seems you dont always have to set it?.
Why not download a developer version of weblogic/jrun and test your code
to see if its the code the app server?, even Jboss would do I expect.
