If you already have an Excel file, there's no need to use POI. You can just
use HTTP to let the user download it (just place a link to it in the
appropriate HTML file). Or maybe I'm misinterpreting what your problem is..?
Could you elaborate a little bit more on what your infrastructure is (is
that "NES" server accessible through HTTP, does it run a servlet container?)
and where you want to generate an Excel file?
