I am new to POI and find it very nice. I am trying to take a template in Word which contains some merge fields, populate the merge fields and then generated a new document. I have successfully read in the document using the POIFS and created a HWPFDocument. How can I get a list of the merge fields and then populate them. Thanx Joe
