Nunca me ha tocado implementar algo parecido, pero si había oído de la posibilidad de incluir el funcionamiento de controles Activex (bajo sistemas operativos Windows) dentro de Java, es por eso que busque un link que mencionara algo y lo pegue en el mail anterior. Te recomiendo que indagues un poco sobre la inclusión de los controles ActiveX en Java y si es posible la inclusión de controles gráficos, además busca que/cuales controles hay disponibles para Office. Espero que salgas adelante con este requerimiento...
