Hi Stefan,

printing the POI worksheet without Excel o. OpenOffice will not be a 
successful task I assume. The 'plain' HSSF data need to the inter-
preted by the print processing of an office programm in order to be
proper printed by our system printer.
Either try to associate your POI generated file the proper application
in your enviroment and print from the runnig office task  or switch to 
a more printer friendly format (text or pdf or ...).
