We are not going to support embedding OLE objects into ppt. It's beyond the scope of HSLF project. Sorry. But we are going to implement "native" ppt tables. PowerPoint table is a group of shapes, i.e. a group of text boxes and lines that follow certain layout rules. Check HSLF in two or three months. There is a good chance we implement it!
