There is no easy way to cope specially for non Debian
distros. IMHO users, like me, just tend not to use the
latest and greatest builds but asside from that
there's no other way to protect ourselves.

It's just due to historical reasons that I'm still
running Slackware. Recently tried to change to xubuntu
(a Debian-based distro) but I had issues with my
networking :(

Just downloaded the latest code from CVS. I was
building the "stable" version earlier. This should put
us, more or less, on equal grounds.

I've verified I got all items required (glade and
pixbuf).

Clean build again. Tried to install poker-network.

I think there are some issues regarding the use of
PYTHONPATH in poker-network. Since I was not using a
standard install, I have also modified my PYTHONPATH
to the correct path but when installing poker-network
I see this error:

make[2]: Entering directory
`/home/games/poker/pokersource/gna.org/poker-network/pokerclient2d'
export PYTHONPATH=.. ; \
:
:
ImportError: No module named pokerengine

I think the install script is disregarding the
currently setup PYTHONPATH, thus in my case it says it
can not find poker-engine. Easily worked out manually.

Tried to run web side.

pokerweb, contants.php insists that the SOAP port is
19382, open port in the range 19480, 19482 only.
Editing constants.php fixes this problem.

Got everything installed. test-pokerweb fails on me,
but this is maybe due to my apache2 setup.
run-pokerserver is OK. pokerclient2d is still NG.

Kindly verify attached log file.

Regards
