I'm using a recent Fedora 9 version from the
poker-network-1.6.0-1.fc9.rpm. However, I believe the events you are
seeing in the log is a symptom of the problem. What you are witnessing
is me demonstrating that once I finally get to a table from the lobby, I
can't sit down. So what appears to be one player claiming all the seats
is me clicking on each of the arrows that appears above a chair in a
futile attempt to sit at the table. Each attempt results in no action
whatsoever. Normally, clicking on an arrow should trigger and event that
makes an avatar appear and sit at the table or stand behind the selected
seat if one doesn't have enough chips.

P.S. I don't want to impose, I know that you are a very busy man, but if
you can get to a windows machine and are willing to try the windows
client, you are welkome to see these events for yourself. I can send the
server address. Only a suggestion.

Thank you.
