I thought he completed the work. He is in the process of completing 
the work and got stuck by the compilation of poker3d. Now I get it.

I think you should separate your problem in two different parts. One 
is the implementation of private tournaments, password protected. The 
other is the customization of the poker3d client. Adding a feature to 
the server and making sure it actually works and is installed on site 
is likely to cost more than $1,000 and less than $3,000 depending on 
who you ask for. You've experienced that the recompilation of the 
poker3d client requires a work and expertise that is not in the same 
price range.
