Sure, we thought at first to use poker-network packets in json for history/dump. The good side is: It is directly playable by existing pokersource client that already use the /POKER_REST json endpoint. jpoker skin test cases are an example of playing a predefined flow of packets: http://jspoker.pokersource.info/skin/skin/table.html#jpoker_08_all And I know that mornifle has something similar working for Pokme 3d client. Bad side is: It is not the preferred form for read/write by an human. One day bkuhn also came up with a primitive terse microformat to play live poker with us over IRC: IIRC it was something like: l loic # character alias j johan b bkuhn m mornifle sb 5 bb 10 loic d # loic is dealer l c # loic calls bb, mornifle fold is implicit j c # johan calls sb As Ad Ks # bkuhn check is implicit l b 200 # loic bet 200, johan and bkuhn check are implicit b f # bkuhn fold, johan fold is implicit > I'm yet to find > a pre-packaged version for Windows, or a consistent set of > requirements for building one. I know there have been work on poker-eval for generating an installer: http://svn.gna.org/viewcvs/pokersource/trunk/poker-eval/poker-eval.nsi?rev=1047&view=markup But AFAIK, it is not maintained anymore, and nothing comporable has been done on pypoker-eval side. > Would pokersource host a binary windows package of pypoker-eval if > fpdb managed to build one? Sure, I'm sure Loic could provide you commit access to svn.gna.org, if you create an account. -- Johan Euphrosine <pro...@aminche.com> Development and services around Free Software http://aminche.com/
