Recently, I was emailing a system admin at one of the major ISPs. He told me that we were blocked for going over their throttle limits, which he described as 10 simultaneous connections per IP and 100 messages per hour.
Now. I use policyd 1.8x and know that I can do the #/per hour part, but how do I limit the number of inbound connections? Is that more at the Postfix level? I run in a distributed environment (one primary MySQL db), how do I enforce a connection limit across the environment?
