The other day I had a policyd instance hang - it was running, but not accepting connections on 10031. I had to restart the process without a chance to see what might have caused it. So I'm looking for, or will put together a nagios plugin that checks that the daemon is properly accepting and answering queries. If I can't find one, and write one, is anyone interested in a copy?
