When browsing the Intel website I got some errors. A quick research showed:
1) The Intel DNS setup is a mess.[1]
2) polipo seems to send 2 DNS queries with the same id, when the 1st returns an
error then
the 2nd is not processed.
For 2) I did not dig deep into polipo's source, so I'm not sure if my
observation is right. The
queries on wire I see

and polipo returns
HTTP/1.1 504 Host www.glb.intel.com lookup failed: Permanent name server failure
IMHO polipo should wait for second answer or use different ids for A and AAAA
query, so it
does not return an error if one of the queries fails.
