Hi list, To the Mac users out here: I have been using polipo on Mac OS X for more than a year now and some time ago created a GUI to make using polipo on Mac a bit more convenient. As it might be useful to other people, I decided to publish it. It is basically just a GUI wrapper for polipo which adds a status bar item to control polipo. A number of configuration options can be accessed through the GUI, although not all of them are available. As an added benefit, the application bundle contains a list of ad- servers which can be used to zap ads.
I released the source code of the application under the GPL, prebuilt binaries for 10.4 and 10.5 are of course also available. To get the source or the binaries go here: http://software.ione.ch/web/content/blogcategory/19/52/ I know that there is another GUI for polipo for Mac (it was on this list some time ago), and this is not some sort of contest, but at that time I had already been using my own GUI for some time, I just had not gotten around to publishing it.
