Hello,

I've used squid before and I have to say I like their access log and
find myself wishing a similar log could be available for polipo. It's
great to have a line per request, with each line telling me at least:
the computer that made the request, the http method, how the proxy
handles it, (hit, miss, if-modified-since hit, memory hit, etc.), and of
course the url.

Is this a reasonable request? Is it harder to do with the design of
polipo vs. squid's design? I've enabled D_CLIENT_REQ and D_SERVER_REQ
in the log. This seems to have some effect, but obviously it doesn't
provide quite what I've described above for actually being able to look
into what polipo is doing and to see how effective it is.

Thanks,
Dan
