With ff 3.0.11 things are different but still not working for me. I can load
more than just the first thing from nzz.ch but still the images won't load
(they load when I right click and open them in a new tab). And after some pages
nzz.ch can still be blocked completely.
Without the proxy nzz.ch loads fine on both ff 3.5 and 3.0.
I recorded some of the traffic with wireshark and even 10 minutes after I
closed firefox, polipo is receiving traffic from nzz.ch (retransmissions, some
packages with something like 'connection keep alive' at the end of them, and
even some JFIF image finally seems to have arrived) but I don't know http, so I
can just say that these things don't happen with a direct connection.
Of course I can't upload a full capture of my network traffic, but if any
specific packet (or packet summary lines) is useful to solve the problem I'll
try to delete everything else (passwords, MAC, nsa, al qaeda, mossad etc.)
