This is the correct behaviour.  Polipo caches everything, the uncachable
file only selects which pages will be revalidated on every access.
I agree, the name of the file is a misnomer.

(There's no easy way around that, since Polipo doesn't use any buffers,
and performs I/O directly to/from the cache.)
