After more testing I have found that 1.1.1 is unusable. I backed out my install to a previous release.
I don't have data due to cross-compiling issues for my favorite debug tools and time to get them cross-compiled. Posting just as an FYI for others. I am cross-compiling on x86 -> ARM cortex-A8 which uses armv7 architecture.
