I wrote a long article with analysis of the China-Taiwan and this forum
denied me permission to post and denied me recovery of my article to
resolve login issues. Good to see the donations were well spent Admins.

China appears to be signaling that it wants Taiwan should the ZUSUK
strike Iran. Some payoff /will/ be needed as Chinas significant energy
supplier will choke. Actually, the people living on Taiwan have nothing
to fear if their leader agrees to re-unification. It was the mainland
chinese that separated the Taiwanese from the mainland Chinese in the
first place. But the power hungry exiled Chinese political leadership
doesn't want to lose that power. I fear they will cause the spilling of
blood of the ordinary folk on the island for their powerlust.

The signals from China are an indicator of Washingtons future foreign
policy...

Today China demanded te US 'abandon' Taiwan.[1] and I believe, over the
last two years, China has been scrambling to look for another major
energy supplier - Venezuela,[2,3,4,5,6] not just as a complementary
source of oil, but more of an emergency switch from Iranian supplies,
when the nukes start falling.

This is why China has been sitting quietly on its narrow little arse (as
it always does). It realises that it cannot afford to sit totally silent
and let its long term energy security pass it by. Political control over
Taiwan is the fee that will be extracted from Washinton for Chinese
silence this time.

Further evidence to support this view comes from two reports today [7,8]
whereby Russia and China are telling Iran in effect to cave into the
ZUSUK demands.

Iran it seems, is running thin of powerful friends to help it survive
this crisis. A crisis I think, God forbid, will result in nuclear
attacks against Iran.
