Sarah Palin, in a recent ABC News interview, talked lightly about nuclear war. She seemed to falsely think that Georgia was a member of NATO, which a high school student should know. The woman who started as mayor of 9,000 populated Wasilla, Alaska with no debt and left it with $22 million debt, seemed to think Russia caused the problem with an unprovoked invasion of Georgia, when in reality Russia was responding to the Georgian unprovoked invasion of South Ossetia, which has effectively been independent for the last 19 years. The favorite of Vice President Richard Cheney seemed to think the US should get in a nuclear war with Russia because Russia repelled Georgia's unprovoked attack on South Ossetia.
