You have to go no further than the Hillary Clinton Foundation's giving the
platform to the wife of a convicted terrorist who put together bombs that
killed Israelis to understand where this presidential candidate stands with
reference to Israel. The woman, the honoree, Hana al-Hroub, is a teacher
employed by the Palestinian Authority. Her textbooks teach children to kill
Jews. Her textbooks tell children that a future Palestinian state will ban
Jews and they should keep fighting and killing Jews until their state of
Palestine includes what is now Israel. Her kids' summer camp is basic
training for terror with target practice, bomb making and martyr
education. She has not ever come out and called for her people to cease
their blood lust against Jews and for them to become civilized and
peaceful. Yet she will be honored by the Clinton family. You don't see them
giving that type of recognition to the likes of an Ayaan Hirsi Ali do you?
Ask your local Democrat Committee people for an answer when they argue that
Hillary is pro-Israel and all that nonsense.

It is so open, so obvious........Hillary's, Obama's and their party's
antagonism, dislike and yes, hatered against the Jewish State that it is a
no brainer for people of the Liberal/Progressive/Leftist bent to just nod
and accept that as fact, go about their business and vote, zombie-like, the
Party Line. And that includes Jews, the likes of Haim Saban, who is a
shameless 1%er and party hack. Toss them all in the dumpster on November

A Palestinian teacher scheduled to speak at a Clinton Global Initiative
dinner on Tuesday is attracting criticism from the Republican Party because
the woman’s husband is a *Palestinian official who was convicted of
participating in a terror attack that killed six Israelis in 1980.*

The Republican National Committee said featuring the teacher, Hanan
al-Hroub, at the last Clinton Global Initiative event was insensitive
particularly as New York law enforcement is investigating a New Jersey man
for planting bombs in the region. Ms. al-Hroub’s husband, Omar, served 10
years in an Israeli prison for his role in the bombing.

“In the wake of this weekend’s attacks, granting a platform to the spouse
of a terrorist bomb-maker just miles away from where explosives were
detonated days ago is an insult to the victims and makes a mockery of the
Clinton Foundation” said Raj Shah, deputy communications director of the
Republican National Committee.

Asked to comment, spokesmen for Bill Clinton and the Clinton Foundation
provided a statement from entertainment mogul Haim Saban, a major Clinton
Foundation donor.

“Hanan al-Hroub is a beacon of hope in a part of the world that is very
dear to me and in desperate need of more hope,” the statement from Mr.
Saban said. “I only wish more people honored her and the cause that she

The so-called topic dinner at the Clinton Global Initiative is scheduled
for Tuesday evening, said the Clinton Foundation spokesman.

Mid-morning, after The Wall Street Journal reported Ms. Al-Hroub’s absence
from the Clinton Foundation website, her name and photo appeared on the
list of speakers at the Clinton Global Initiative.

A Clinton spokesman said, “It’s standard for scheduling changes to occur
leading up to our Annual Meeting. In fact, CGI has had roughly 30 updates
to the site in the three days leading up to the Annual Meeting.”

Ms. al-Hroub won the $1 million Global Teacher Prize this year from the
Varkey Foundation, which has given the Clinton Foundation between $1
million and $5 million. The Varkey Foundation is the charitable arm of GEMS
Education, a global for-profit K-12 education company that has paid Bill
Clinton about $6.2 million since 2010 for consulting work, according to the
tax returns released by the campaign of Hillary Clinton
<,-clinton/6344>, the Democratic
nominee for president.

Omar al-Hroub was convicted on charges that he was an accomplice in a
deadly bombing attack in Hebron that killed Israelis walking home from
Friday night Sabbath prayers. According to an Associated Press account at
the time, Omar al-Hroub was a chemist who provided chemicals needed for
making the bombs.

The award by the Varkey Foundation, named for the Varkey family that owns
GEMS Education, recognizes an individual who has made an exceptional
contribution to the profession.

A Clinton Foundation spokesman also noted that the award to Ms. al-Hroub
was announced via video by Pope Francis and afterward she was congratulated
by Vice President Joe Biden, Prince William and Bill Gates.

The Varkey prize website says that Ms. al-Hroub embraces the slogan “No to
Violence” and uses an approach detailed in her book, “We Play and Learn.”
“She focuses on developing trusting, respectful, honest and affectionate
relationships with her students and emphasises the importance of literacy,”
the prize website says.

After serving a 10-year sentence, Mr. al-Hroub accepted the 1993 Oslo
interim peace accord with Israel, served as a deputy Cabinet minister in
the Palestinian Authority and supports a two-state solution with Israel,
according to an Associated Press story quoting Qadura Faris, director of
the Palestinian prisoners’ association. Mr. al-Hroub is a senior
Palestinian official who is close to President Mahmoud Abbas and “believes
in his peaceful approach,” Mr. Faris told the AP.
