The age of consent is relevant only in the context of current mores someone can be raped at any age. Rape and consenting to sex are the same in any era. So the context in which an irresponsible 13 year old from some state in America is present on some island and most likely under pressure to perform sex acts with a married ex president and accused rapist makes him a pedophile and a rapist if there is evidence to back up the allegation.
