Good Morning Everyone! Geoffrey, to be honest, I really don't know. The thing seems to be stalled in Cuba; the storm hasn't made the big, big, really really big right hand northward turn as we've been hearing for a week; but everyone in the Tampa Bay area are now panicking; so I really don't know what to tell ya.
My only fear has been whether a hurricane somehow barreled up the west coast and enters into Tampa Bay. We haven't seen that happen in almost a hundred years; but this would be a devastating blow. That would be the only way I would consider evacuating. Now, if you listen to these jack-leg reporters (on each and every network!) that appears to be what is being now predicted. I am going to wait, at least until I see a northward turn, before I make any decisions.
