Sean, As a conservative, I will be the first to agree that President Bush is not a conservative, and that many of his policies have been dismal failures, the recent bailout, which all conservatives opposed, (*See* Newt Gingrich) is a classic example.
To place blame on President Bush and the Bush Administration for the current financial debacle is not totally realistic, and you are failing to focus on the real cause of this quagmire. I strongly encourage you to read the following, which I wrote and posted to the group almost two months ago, and if you can find any flaws, inaccuracies, or misstatements contained therein, I will personally pay off your mortgage! http://pressboxfantasyfootball.com/Democrats.Fannie.Freddie..pdf The link is stored on my fantasy football web site, and is in an Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format, which will require to you cut and paste the links contained within that are referenced. If you are truly interested, I will be more than happy to send you the original post, which has the links where you can click on them. Sean, although this is somewhat lengthy, I strongly encourage you to take a gander at the link provided above. Although there is some truth in your blog, I think some of the blame that you place is misplaced, and attempting to keep partisan politics aside, after you have reviewed what I just submitted, if you are interested, I will be more than happy to point out where I think the Republicans and especially the Bush Administration failed. You are on the right track, but missed the mark!! Thanks for your thoughtful post!!
