/it starts by eliminating individual liberty/

Narciso mentioned Harold Koh this morning in another thread. As near as
I can tell very few Americans threaten our individual liberties more
than Harold Koh.

Koh is an advocate of transnationalism, a concept that argues in
favor of "global governance" as opposed to the constitutional
    sovereignty of independent nation-states.

This perspective holds that the world's most challenging problems --
war, terrorism, "climate change," hunger, financial and social
inequalities, diseases, human rights violations, racism, sexism, and
xenophobia -- are too complex and deep-rooted for any single
nation-state to address effectively on its own. The solution, says
Koh, would be for all members of the international community to
recognize a set of supranational laws and institutions whose
authority overrides that of any particular government. Koh believes
that such laws should "be internalized into the domestic law of even
    resistant nation-states."

On top of that, this Obama pick believes that "America's focus on
the War on Terror [is] 'obsessive.'" And his list of countries that
flagrantly disregard international law highlights North Korea, Iraq,
    and the U.S.A.

which he collectively calls "the axis of disobedience."

What a load of half witted bollocks. That is what obtains in the EU,the
"one size fits all" is devastating individual countries culture, industry
and economies.
The biggest argument against this monstrosity is, the same crooks and
imbeciles buggering things on a national scale will be buggering on a
supra-national scale.
