Just a post about a minor victory. As some may remember, my home to street sewer line needed repairs in January when the ground was frozen so out came the crew with the jackhammers leaving behind a mess- untamped ground and a mound of dirt. All said the dirt would "settle"- but it didn't. Contractors, once paid, are hard to finesse, so I called the inspector who signed them off. Voila! My lawn is again level.
