He believed that the individual human soul and society find fulfillment when their actions are directed towards a good end in a prioritized manner. For most, the end, or goal of each day is simply earning a living to care for family and enjoy lives together. A threat to this tranquility of order must often appear imminent before we are persuaded to divert our efforts to anything else. This fact of human existence accounts for many of the terrible totalitarian conquests of the last Century. During the rise of Adolph Hitler and the Communist Revolution, ample forewarnings were everywhere. While no one could be faulted for not extrapolating the precise details of horror that would accompany the regimes, the essence of promised utopias was clear enough to inspire early resistance among those who accepted to face reality, rather than enjoy imperiled order. We are willing to put up with a great deal to avoid disturbance of our daily tranquility, and this is why those who foresaw that Hitler and the Communists would impoverish and enslave millions were actually rebuffed by the people they were trying to rouse to self-defense. Members of the clergy, intellectuals, and journalists warned that their countrymen were preparing their own doom by tolerating the monsters in their larval stages. It was more comforting to dismiss their warnings by thinking, “It can’t happen here, things won’t get any worse.” We are facing the totalitarian threat of our age. In a speech delivered to the Florida Security Council, Geert Wilders<http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/Articles/Geert%20Wilders%20Fitna%20Insightful%20and%20Inciteful.html>, director of the movie Fitna and member of the Dutch Parliament, delivered a “Warning to America,” containing these statements on the nature of our own peril: We are witnessing profound changes that might alter Europe’s destiny and send our continent in what *Ronald Reagan* once called ‘a thousand years of darkness.’ The take-over of Europe is part of the global fight of Islam for world domination. Islam is a political ideology. The Quran asks, demands Muslims to kill non-Muslims. The Quran is the word of God and leaves no room for personal interpretation. Therefore, there is no such thing as moderate Islam. Sure, there are moderate Muslims, but no moderate Islam. Mohammad said, ‘I have been ordered by Allah to fight against people until they testify that there is no God but Allah and Mohammed is his Prophet.’ Mohammad’s behavior and the Quran inspire Jihadists all over the world to slaughter innocent people. The truth is that Islam has always attempted to conquer Europe. Now there are fifty million Muslims in Europe…this poses an enormous threat to us in the West. We let in *the Trojan* Horse. If we do not stop the Islamization, we will lose everything….our Civilization. There is one western country that has been forced to fight the forces of Jihad for its values almost from the first day of existence and that is the state of Israel. I love Israel…it is a beacon of light in an area that is pitch black everywhere else. The so called Middle East conflict is not about land…it is not a territorial conflict, it is about ideology. To Islam, the whole of Israel is occupied territory. Israel is not just fighting for itself, Israel is fighting for all of us. We all are Israel. Young Israeli men and women are fighting today for our freedom, for our civilization. All cultures are not equal. Our culture that is based on Christianity, Judaism, and Humanism is far better than the Islamic culture. Let me tell you things that we have to do to stop the Islamization of the world. The first thing is to stop cultural relativism. Second, we have to stop pretending that Islam is a religion. Islam is a totalitarian political ideology. Third, we must stop the mass immigration from Islamic countries. In order to preserve our own values, not one person should be allowed to * emigrate* from a Muslim country to our countries. For people who are already here. If they want to integrate, then…they are welcome and they are equal since we have no hatred for any person. But as soon as they start thinking about Sharia, about Jihad and commit criminal acts, then we tell them, ‘There is the door.’ We have to stop the *building* of new mosques. No brick should be allowed for one mosque as long as no synagogues or churches are allowed in countries like Saudi Arabia. We have to close down the worst institution in our societies, the fascist institution of Islamic schools. We have to go on the offensive. Wilders is detested by many in Europe and has been targeted for death by numerous Islamic clerics. In the 1920s and 30s many understood the need to resist Hitler, while others wouldn’t accept reality until bombs were falling on the kitchen table. It’s time to join the war, not on “terror” (that oh-so soothing illusion,) but on Islam in the West. Most urgently, we must defend Israel as the frontline in the war against the spread of Islam.
