Tommy, Sorry to inform you of this but.... The two most "moderate" islamic countries are Turkey and Tunisia. You will find that these practices while being "illegal" are seldom prosecuted. As I have posted previously on this forum my daughter in law is a Muslim from Turkey... her parents are considered "moderates" there. Her Uncle had her cousin flogged for dating a Kurd. When she Married him he had her stoned... He is a local "hero".
He is also not the only one. I do wish that you would get an education or at least travel and see what is going on rather than continue to keep your head buried in the sand. While most Muslims may not DO this, they do support the religious "right" to do so.
