I might add, that Bruce Majors did a pretty thorough research project on this several years ago, (correct me if I am wrong on the timeline) which was fascinating.
I do find it more than ironic that those who are clamoring about conservatives and especially the Tea Party as being racist, and who utilize the race card the most frequently, have no contact with Blacks and live in predominately all white communities. Several years ago, (and I think this still applies) and one of the most telling, was NBC News, and especially MSNBC, which had no blacks on the air, yet was constantly labeling (and battering!) the Tea Party as racist.
