As you can see, counsel for Private Bradley Manning has put on a vociferous defense, and requested numerous hearings on motions before the court, as well as memoranda in support of Manning's voluminous motions for reduction of charges, dismissal and other assorted legal manueverings.
It would be unfair to classify the delays in Manning's trial as the fault of the government.
