Sorry, Googled for this in Ubuntu forums, and the answers were wrong, lame, or non existent.
I keep getting Authentication Required dialogs, which say "Authentication is required to change your own user data". I even went down into /usr/share/polkit-1/actions/org.freedesktop.accounts.policy, and changed the <allow_active>yes</allow_active> to no, rebooted, and no affect. I get these dialogs about once evvery 30 seconds, and they lock out the screen entirely. Hitting cancel seems appropriate.
