She should have more sense than that! Then,on top of everything else

approaching
irrate when he dialed her number and heard the ringing begin. "What
the Hell
is going on over there," he demanded when she picked up. He realized
he
sounded harsh, but he'd had about all he could take for one day,
between
Zandra and Nick and now this!

Derek shouting in her ear was not making Ria's day. She glanced over
at
Philip who was sitting on the floor, but now conscious drinking a
cold glass
of water a nurse had given him. "Philip's fine, Derek." The priest
looked
at her with sympathy, but there was a haunted look to his hazel eyes.
"I know, Derek. I wasn't thinking. Next time I'll ask alright?" Ria
was
trying quietly to appease the elder Dutchman, but she could tell the
usually tolerant man was passing his breaking point. She sighed and
hung up the phone. Derek wanted her back now, and she was to bring
Philip with her. They needed to talk. Ria cringed. That was not a good
sign and if Sloan called, Derek would probably tell him her request
and she would be sunk. "Can this day get any worse," she thought.
