OOC: I think the problem Dawn described is a compatibility problem with the
email and the email reader. Try this. it should be just plain text.

She had lost track of time, wherever it was she was at and although the
voices said she shouldn't remember how she had gotten there, she had. She
remembered it vividly. She had also told those voices she wasn't going to
go with them either because they needed her. The evil wasn't finished, even
though they had thought they had banished it. Because now, she knew, it had
gotten an ally. This time there were two of them that wanted members of the
Legacy. And there was one that made her fight even more now to be returned.

It wanted Nick.

She looked around, raising her voice in case they weren't listening "Are you
there?" Her voice, naturally husky to begin with, was almost hoarse now.
She had to hurry... if she got there too late..... "I have to go back!
Damnit stop ignoring me!!"

"She's right you know," one of the voices finally spoke, a sigh in its voice
"And she will not give up. Let her go and help her friends. Maybe then she
will find Peace."

"And if she doesn't?"

A bright form appeared before Julia and solidified into an old, kind woman
"If we allowed you to return Julia Walker, will you accept Peace when it is
time?"

To help her friends? To help Nick?

"Yes.. I'll do anything you ask." she managed, meaning it and her blue eyes
promising it. She'd promise her soul to the devil if it meant saving him
and the others "Just let me help them before it's too late."

"She will have to forget." one of the voices spoke.

"It is done..." another chimed.....

* * * * * At the mansion * * * * *

Thunder erupted from the sky and the wind picked up speed. One of those
sudden bay storms was erupting and hitting hard.

"What the...?" The guard at the gate was out of the small check-in gate at
the sudden flash that landed smack dab in the middle of Mister Rayne's front
yard.. and what he saw.... "Holy mother o' god..." He was back inside his
station and calling up to the house. There was a woman laying sprawled out
on the now wet grass, dressed in what looked like an over coat and soaked to
the skin.

Julia suddenly stirred and coughed, pushing up on her hands and knees and
wondering why she felt like death warmed over.. then she spotted her hands
and clothes... scraps and torn....

She looked up at the house, the rain now gone but having giving her a good
beating. She felt the chill all the way through her clothes and then some.

But how did she get here?
