Kat froze in the doorway to her room. She thought she heard someone talking to her. The little girl looked around, but didn't see anyone. "Miranda....is that you?" She suddenly felt an empty aching place in her heart for her friend. It had been AGES since they'd been able to play together, or at least it seemed like ages. Kat ran her fingers gently over the golden dragon bracelet as her thoughts turned to Miranda. Perhaps, she could move in with them. There was tons of room in the castle and when they went home, she wouldn't mind sharing her room with her. All she wanted was to be with her and to have fun learning all the wonderful things Miranda could teach her. Kat
