Julia raised her hand just a little "Double shot of everything." and then
looked at the others before scratching her head sheepishly "Unless... I
should wait until after the tests." And she knew they would be needed to be
ran; blood tests, brain wave patterns, dental... it would be a few hours of
being a live guinea pig and test sample so that the actual medical proof
could be gained that she was, in fact, Julia Walker. And to be honest, she
really didn't care what they had to do now... because Nick had been able to
tell without the test results. She'd put up with the hours-long tests
without a qualm. Her stomach on the other hand...
She looked at Alex and smiled assuringly at her. They would definately have
time during the tests to do some talking and she was pretty sure the reason
her friend hadn't bombarded her now was because of the number of people
around now.
So Julia looked at both her and Derek and shrugged "Whenever you're ready to
start poking." She then slid a look at Nick and tried to that ghost of a
grin to show up again, if only for a moment.
God this must be driving him crazy.....
"I think we can wait until after you've eaten," Derek replied suddenly
frowning. "Nick you might want to make one of those for Kat," he added
realizing he hadn't fed the child dinner yet and it was getting pretty late.
He rubbed his neck wondering what on earth was happening to him. Lack of
sleep most likely, not to mention all the extra stress, a lot more than he
usually dealt it. It was actualy a wonder he was still being civil to
anyone.
