"Yes, I'm sure she must be starving by now."

Julia had read the woman's expression and body language and turned to Alex and Nick "On second thought I'll see about visiting with her later.  Anyone up for tests?"

She had played it off on a light note, but knew and should have realized that a mother being faced with a known recent dead person would of course have reservations.  But because Nick knew it was her and even Derek and Alex knew, Julia wasn't upset.  Rachel had never known her.  These others had.

She'd wait, but not before she got up and made herself another sandwich to go and refilled her mug.

"Can someone order a pizza?" she asked curiously before, same Julia habit, she passed Alex the coffee and crawled up on the counter to pull down a little carry basket.  And darned if it wasn't still there either.

"Julia --" Alex started, not thinking about it but it being her usual way when seeing her friend in that position.

"I know, I know." she turned and sat, then slid down to hold it while Alex put her stuff into it.  Then both women stopped, realizing, and couldn't help but smile at each other before Alex took the carry basket and started to leave.

"I'll meet you..." she looked at the two non-members and winked at Julia "there."

Julia nodded and looked at the others.  Should she say something or just leave?
