As Derek worked to finish up in the Control room, he had switched one of the
monitors to show cycling views of the rooms downstairs and the exterior of
the house. Mainly, he was keeping an eye on Zandra, though nothing had
occurred to worry him yet, the concern was still there. He noticed that
child Rachel had brought with her, wandered outside, but Rachel went to get
her, so that didn't concern him too much. However, when he saw Julia
leaving the house he resolved to have a talk with her about that. It was
too dangerous just not for anyone to be wandering around at night, even if
she did know how to look after herself. Still, he understood her need to be
alone for awhile. He reset the cameras so he could keep an eye on her and
make sure she returned to the house unharmed. If she didn't come back on
her own, he'd go after her himself. Though, he knew sending Alex would be
the wiser decision and he did consider this as she set up Julia's access to
the Control Room and computers.

"It looks like dinner's arrived," Derek told Alex as he rubbed his forehead.
A dull ache had begun behind his eyes and he knew he needed to get some
sleep soon. "Perhaps we should go fetch Julia...." As he spoke her figure
on the screen began to move back toward the house. "Or perhaps not....."
