Derek nodded, "I know this must be difficult for you and I would put it off
if I thought Kat would drop the issue, but I'm not certain she would." He
did feel for Rachel, but this was a problem that had to be taken care of
before it got out of control. There was enough of that in the house as it
was. He took Rachel gently by the arm and led her to the library, where
they found Nick, Julia and Kat waiting.
Kat looked up the moment the door opened. "Okay, you can start now," she
told Julia with great anticipation. She didn't even wait for them to sit
down.
